November 19th
Join us for an Old Time Country Dance on Saturday November 19th 7 - 10pm at O'Fallon City Hall Gymnasium. A dance caller will be there to show everyone how to do the dances, so no one will be a wall flower. Last year we had a great time not only dancing to live music but with the silent auction, 50/50 raffle and great refresements.

The 2nd phase of our Oral History Project is up and running.

Oral History Project
The O'Fallon Historical Society, along with the City of O'Fallon, has just finished the first phase of the Oral History project. Twenty-four participants were interviewed on several different subjects pertaining to the history of O'Fallon.
This will be a two-sided project. The recorded interviews will be placed in the OHS archives in their entirety. The Public Relations Department will edit the interviews and supplement them with voiceover and still photos to produce several segments to be broadcast on Channel 991 for all to see.
We want to thank all those who participated and the interviewers, Cheryl Hibbeler, Teresa Price, Lewis and Pat Swinger. A special thanks goes to our Mayor and City Council, City Administrator Keith Reisberg, Director of Public Relations Tom Drabelle and his staff for their support.
I want to also thank Pat Swinger. She envisioned this project over 5 years ago and is now seeing the project up and running.
Fort Zumwalt rebuilding project
The first phase of rebuilding the "fort" is almost complete. The building is up, the roof is on and the OCF is starting phase two and three which is the completion of the main building. Be sure to stop by Fort Zumewalt Park and see the progress.
